Get ready to blast off into the world of rockets and discover the amazing science behind them. You'll become a rocket safety superstar by learning all about the model rocket safety code. You'll also uncover the secrets of how rockets soar through the sky, stay perfectly balanced, and return safely to Earth. Each day, you'll get to build a rocket from a sleek and awesome Mad Science rocket kit to a rocket made of toilet paper tubes – how cool is that? You'll also be part of a real launch team! Imagine working together with your new friends as altitude trackers, launch preparers, and launchers. Every day, you'll watch in awe as we send a rocket soaring high into the sky.

Great for children entering 2nd - 5th grade. Children entering K-1st grade will enjoy it as well with a little more help from fellow campers or instructors.

Note: Our camp includes everything your child needs during the camp. However, if you wish to continue your child’s interest in rocket launches at home, you will need to purchase a launch kit online or from a store.

For more than 30 years, the Arizona Summer Engineering Academy (SEA) has offered summer outreach programs for rising 9th through 12th graders, as well as graduated seniors*, who want to learn more about engineering – and get a taste of life as a Wildcat!

The Tulane Science Scholars Program (TSSP) gives high school students the opportunity to take college-credit courses during the summer in science and engineering at Tulane before high school graduation. TSSP is a selective program for rising 11th and 12th-grade students who have exceptional talent in the sciences, engineering, and mathematics.

Rebel Research Scholars offers hands-on, faculty-led research experiences in our labs held during the summer for high school students interested in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).

Summer College for High School Students is a four-week comprehensive program for high-achieving high school students who want to experience university life.

Students will be immersed in a week of cooking, baking, and learning about local produce and nutrition.

For the past 30 years, Clemson University has offered a summer enrichment program for gifted middle and high school students. In addition to challenging courses, we provide opportunities for fun, friendship and a Clemson experience. This year’s program has even more to offer with new classes available for all students. A balanced schedule of educational, recreational and cultural activities will help broaden your academic skills and develop your creative abilities. You’ll take exciting classes during the day while your evening and weekend activities may include nature study hikes, small group discussions with Clemson faculty, and career and educational guidance. In addition, you’ll enjoy movies, tennis, swimming, racquetball and trips to University laboratories, the John C. Calhoun House, the S.C. Botanical Garden, the Hanover House and the Clemson Forest. This summer experience will give you a taste of life as a Clemson student. Clemson University faculty will conduct your classes in University facilities. You’ll use University materials and equipment to conduct your scientific investigations. You’ll live in a semiprivate room in a campus dormitory and eat in a University dining hall. Qualified counselors will supervise dormitory life and all activities. You’ll have complete access to area medical facilities, including the University health center. If you’re an advanced high school student, the two-week classes provide a great opportunity to delve deeply into specialized topics. This residential academic experience provides rising 9th and 10th graders students with a taste of college life. As a VSA student, you will live on campus and take accelerated courses with Vanderbilt professors, lecturers, and graduate students. Outside the classroom, our carefully selected residential staff members supervise the dining and residence halls, plan fun and engaging recreational activities, and help ensure that every VSA student has a fulfilling experience.

Embark on an intensive Pre-Algebra Summer Boot Camp designed to fortify fundamental concepts necessary for success in Pre-Algebra and as a valuable review for those entering Algebra I. Our concentrated two-week program, consisting of ten engaging two-hour sessions, offers an in-depth exploration of essential mathematical principles.

Registration opens in January 2024. Filmmaking, photography, journalism, and public communication classes will be offered during two sessions in July 2024.
