Character Creation

Students will practice methods of collaborative and independent brainstorming to invent, design, and develop a portfolio of characters. Each class will start with a guided brainstorming prompt to practice new ways of generating ideas, then finish with individualized instruction to help bring the character illustrations to life—developing world building, completing finished designs through a variety of two-dimensional mediums, and more. This class is great for any students already interested in designing characters, or students who want to try new ways of finding inspiration and thinking creatively.
