| Art for the People: Inspired by the art of Keith Haring. We are bringing art on the street to our classroom today! We will learn to create our own dancing characters and iconic symbols from Keith Haring, one of the most famous street artists of all time. |
| Cut and Paste: Inspired by the art of Hannah Hòˆch. It’s all about cutting, tearing, arranging, and gluing photos! In this class, kids will create their own photomontages to express their ideas about the relationships between nature and industry. |
| Picture Peace: Inspired by the art of Pablo Picasso. Let’s visit Picasso’s world and look at what he expresses in his anti-war painting Guernica. In this class, children create art in the style of Picasso to show their expressions of peace. |
| Project Planet: Let’s learn about collaborative community art projects that are changing minds & pollution laws! From protecting ocean life to the butterfly migrations, we'll get inspired to create our own hanging mobiles to raise awareness & inspire respect for nature. |
| Story Quilts: Inspired by the art of Faith Ringgold. Let’s fly into the dreams of this African American artist! She created story quilts about her dreams and the civil-rights movement. In this class, children create their own story quilt design. |
