Our High School Summer Institutes are ideal programs for students wanting to experience college-level curriculum without the pressure of a letter grade. These programs are designed for students to ask questions, collaborate with peers, and consider new ideas.

A five-week residential program for rising high school seniors. Students enroll in one or two undergraduate courses for credit and study alongside undergraduates. This program is ideal for students who want to earn college credit, challenge themselves academically and explore courses in a specific major or subject.

From Page to Stage is an introduction to the world of theatre. You will explore the many different areas of theatre from theatre history to stage makeup, all while rehearsing for a production to be performed at the end of the three weeks.

This course introduces you to the world of business through management, marketing, finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship.

We will explore the creative process, from generating ideas to shaping and revising, and we’ll seek to share our work with others—reading, performing, and publishing our collective and individual efforts. You will find out how your own writing process operates by learning how other writers work.

What are the stories that comprise Greek and Roman, Nordic, Mayan, and other world mythologies? Why were they significant and why do we keep telling them? We will read and compare creation myths, divine pantheons, hero myths, and modern retellings of ancient mythology using a variety of critical lenses

The Princeton Summer Journalism Program is a year-long college preparation program for high school juniors who are interested in journalism. For the summer of 2024, the program will take advantage of lessons learned during our three virtual summers to offer our first ever multi-week, hybrid summer intensive, which will culminate in our annual 10-day residential institute on the Princeton University campus in New Jersey.

As a Harvard student for your 4-week summer session, you’ll get a student ID which will be your pass to use the libraries, athletic facilities, student centers and access the dorm you’ll be living in with fellow students.

In the American Politics Academy, you’ll take an in-depth look at the three branches of government through a blend of lectures and debate exercises. You’ll learn about the important role that political parties, public opinion, and special interest groups can have on shaping political behavior and decisions while exploring how America’s changing culture impacts political movements and, ultimately, federal, state, and local policies. You’ll have opportunities to hear from key elected officials, Capitol Hill staff, lobbyists, and policymakers who will join class discussions on congressional campaigns, legislative priorities, and emerging national issues.
