Senior Bands

Designed for senior high students who play wind, brass and percussion instruments, the primary focus of this program is developing the finest wind ensemble experience and individual artistry as a member of the ISYM Senior Band program. Participants will perform a wide range of challenging band music ranging from the repertoire’s cornerstone works to recently released compositions. Classes include full ensemble and sectional rehearsals, masterclasses, and elective courses. A small number of brass, woodwind, and percussion players who place highest in auditions and indicate interest will be selected to perform in the Senior Orchestra during their camp experience.
