The Introductory Music Technology program is designed for students who have a budding interest (but little to no prior experience) in songwriting, music production, electronic music, and audio-related technology.

ISYM Electric Strings Camp provides a week of serious study of electric violin, viola, cello, and upright bass in a great variety of styles in a community of highly enthusiastic advocates for this emerging art form.

At this immersive program, each high school student selects a track for the week. Students stay in our state-of-the-art residence halls, and the tracks run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday–Friday. Current College of Fine and Applied Arts faculty members, graduate students, and recent FAA alumni teach classes.

Musical Theatre Camp at Auburn University is an innovative, intensive week-long residential workshop designed for music, theatre, dance, and show choir students who are interested in developing their skills on stage. Students will participate in workshops, masterclasses, private lessons, and rehearsals with our skilled Department of Theatre faculty and staff. Camp kicks off Sunday night with mock auditions and a fun filled night of pizza and games! The week culminates in a Friday morning performance that will highlight scenes rehearsed during the week for family and friends!

The Oberlin Baroque Performance Institute, the premiere summer workshop focusing on baroque instruments and voice, will mark its 52nd year of preparing musicians of all ages (15 and up) to perform some of the great works on period instruments. Learn from faculty and resident artists and participate in master classes, recitals, and student concerts to practice baroque techniques and gain a fuller appreciation of this unique musical genre.
