The University of Arkansas School of Art hosts an annual week long overnight Summer Arts Workshop for rising high school students in grades 10 - 12. Students will select their preferred area of interest for the afternoon course sessions taught by School of Art faculty who are also working artists, designers, and scholars. Throughout the week they will meet with current students, different offices on campus, learning about applying to colleges, scholarship options, and a career in the arts.

The Missouri Summer Composition Institute (June 22-28, 2025) is an exciting opportunity for some of Missouri’s young composers to come together for one week of learning and interacting with other creative minds. The deadline for applications is Sunday, May 4th at 11:59 p.m. All accepted students will be able to participate FREE.

Teen Retreat is a safe, non-threatening, supportive, non-judgmental, weekend gathering of teenagers who are grieving the death of someone significant.

The Geospatial Science Summer Camp for High School Students is designed to introduce students to geospatial science and provide hands-on experience in various geospatial technologies in order to get students interested in this exciting growing field. Moreover, the St. Louis community continues to work together in unprecedented ways to reach the full potential as the global hub for geospatial technology. This summer program will enable the UMSL Geospatial Collaborative to achieve its mission to create the workforce pipeline that will support St. Louis’ rapidly growing geospatial sector.

The Collective's Voice Project is a youth-led community project offering monthly sessions to middle and high school underrepresented youth, providing them with an alternative outlet to express themselves by creating, developing, and producing content that reflects their experiences and perspectives. Participants will be sharing their voices through multi-media outlets from February to November 2025. In recognition of their time and commitment, participants will earn 24 community service hours while gaining valuable life skills and amplifying their stories for a broader audience.​​​

KEEN friends and families will have private playtime and access to all of The Magic House's many activities. You are welcome to continue playing at The Magic House once it opens to the public. The event is free, but you must arrive by 9:30am for free admission. The Magic House is located at 516 S. Kirkwood Rd, St. Louis, MO 63122. Families should enter through the Emerson Entrance at the west end of the main parking lot. Playtime is designed to provide children with disabilities a sensory-friendly opportunity to enjoy the Magic House (without the crowds!). A calming room is available on the first floor near the Emerson Education Entrance. Siblings are encouraged to join the fun, but all children should be appropriately supervised by an adult.

Camp Mihaska summer activities at camp are endless. When you’re not hiking in the woods along endless miles of trails, exploring the caves or fishing and paddle boating in the magnificent lakes, you can soak up the sun at our state-of-the-art pool with water sprays, a lap pool, vortex, and an in-pool bubble tub. Basketball, volleyball, tennis and miniature golf are available day or night, as well as outdoor paintball games and miniature golf.

Our foster care summer camps are designed to give youth in the foster Care system ages 7-17 a chance to challenge themselves, grow, build strong relationships, and create lasting powerful memories.

Camp Kesem is a free, overnight summer camp for children ages 6-18 who are coping with a parent’s cancer. This unique camp experience provides fun-filled activities and a supportive community, helping kids navigate anxiety, isolation, and uncertainty — reminding them they are never alone. Every day at Camp Kesem is an opportunity for campers to try something new, make great friends, and have fun!
