From sea creatures of the deep to phoenixes in the sky, every society has its legends and lore. We’ll tell their stories through paintings, sculptures and other works of art. Each day, kids learn about a different legend and create a unique art project based on that myth. These legends may inspire awe, curiosity or surprise, but they all inspire our imaginations! Let your imagination soar as you explore myths from diverse cultures and tell your own stories. Experiment with different art techniques using Crayola® supplies to bring your ideas to life. Each day is all about designing a one-of-a-kind mythical creature.

Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure - explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to the Ivory Coast, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola® products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. Make a different masterpiece each day, including a dot art canvas, a mud art painting on fabric, and an imperial Russian egg! Bring the unique creations home and build a globally-inspired art gallery.

We’ll start with the basics: campers will step into the shoes of a detective as they uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! From decoding messages to metal detectors to lasers, campers will have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take home lots of gadgets! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on investigation of the science that spies use!

In Mars Academy, teams of campers will find out if they have what it takes to survive on Mars! Activities and training will center around building a sustainable colony on Mars where campers will compete to earn various resources. Campers will be joined by a retired astronaut who will interact with campers during an activity. Campers will also receive a photo with the astronaut and their autograph. Astronaut will be announced soon. $100 additional fee applies.

In Mission: Moon Shot, campers will work to successfully complete a mission to observe the Moon from Lunar orbit mirroring the Apollo 8 and Artemis 2 missions. Activities include a focus in robotics and rocketry, and introduce campers to careers in the arts, communications, Education, IT, and STEM. Campers will be joined by a retired astronaut who will interact with campers during an activity. Campers will also receive a photo with the astronaut and their autograph. Astronaut will be announced soon. $100 additional fee applies.

Campers use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut and solve real-world engineering problems, just like NASA astronauts working together on a mission. They will think and act as NASA engineers as they work with a team to make a pasta rover, parachute, and more! They'll learn about other spin off technology used on earth today. Then, they'll even create a storyboard and presentation to share their spinoff project and work on their science communication skills.

Note: This is a half-day program. The individual day descriptions are full-day descriptions. Half-days will be packed with activities but fewer than in the full-day.
