From our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, this hands-on program for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade sends them on a quest for exploration! Comets, planets, stars and more are all waiting to be discovered. Learn about the four forces of flight, the challenges of space travel, and even participate in a rocket launch!

Join us at the 2023-2024 South County YMCA Y- Club after school enrichment program, where students are invited to join a community of people who support learning growth and development.

Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure - explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to the Ivory Coast, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola® products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. Make a different masterpiece each day, including a dot art canvas, a mud art painting on fabric, and an imperial Russian egg! Bring the unique creations home and build a globally-inspired art gallery.

Campers use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut and solve real-world engineering problems, just like NASA astronauts working together on a mission. They will think and act as NASA engineers as they work with a team to make a pasta rover, parachute, and more! They'll learn about other spin off technology used on earth today.
Note: This is a half-day program. The individual day descriptions are full-day descriptions. Half-days will be packed with activities but fewer than in the full-day.

Golfers will learn fundamentals of the game and will work on the driving range, putting green and golf course each day.

This introduction to golf is geared for third and fourth-grade boys and girls.
