There has never been a more pressing time to study the intersection of environmental change and social equity to learn how you can make a difference! Students will apply an interdisciplinary case-study approach to the social, ecological, and political facets of contemporary environmental issues; learn the principles and key concepts of environmental change and resilience from experts in many fields; and gain hands-on knowledge of techniques for environmental data collection, analysis and visualization. Topics span from resilient water infrastructure to climate activism and environmental justice. Students will actively participate in community responses to climate change through a series of socio-environmental field trips with Boston-area organizations. Working in small teams, students will identify a socio-environmental research question, gather and analyze data on the subject, and synthesize their findings into a college-level capstone project. The Climate Resilience Institute is hosted by the Tufts Environmental Studies Program.

The Tutor Me Program (TMP) will be held from September 01, 2025 - Thursday, May 17, 2025. We service students K-12 in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area. The Tutor Me Program will take place Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm by scheduled appointments only. Students will receive 1:1 tutoring/mentoring services with their own tutor for the entire school year both virtually and in-person.
At this time, all in-person sessions outside of our school-age partnerships will be held at our main location in Bridgeton, MO. For the virtual setting, all virtual sessions will take place via Zoom or WebEx (all child-accessible websites) with their own tutor.

One of our main goals is to assist your students with their academics' studies for them to better understand Reading Comprehension and Math subjects. Parents/guardians will need to fill out one application per student and make their child's schedules. We ask that parents/guardians stick to their students schedules for the duration of the school year. All sessions are one hour long and cost $30. Students are required to have two sessions per week. All payments are due prior to the start of their session, no exceptions. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to pay the weekly fee associated with the Tutor Me Program. Please note that payments can be made via PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, Square, cash, and/or credit/debit cards. Remember that once you set and accept your child's scheduled sessions, then you are responsible for making sure that your child attends each session. There is a zero-tolerance policy for no-call/no-show appointments. If your students miss three scheduled appointments (without communication) then we will assume that the parent/guardian is no longer interested, and your student will be dropped from the program.
