Kids and parents! The school year will soon be coming to a close. What better way to spend the summer than on Gene Slay’s Girls & Boys Club RV Summer Road Trip.
Time to gas up the RV, pick-up your US Passport, National Park Passport, pack up, load up, and head out! Join us as we travel across the United States to learn about the history, people, cultures, foods, traditions, geography, historic sites, and so much more. We will participate in virtual tours and check in at popular and historic sites in each state. Grab your National Park Passport and hop aboard as we embark on a virtual glacier tour in Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska, walk through the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and go diving in Dry Tortugas National Park in Florida! Don’t forget to get your National Park Passport stamped! Fun Fridays give us the opportunity to tie in our educational experiences with field trips, visiting places close to our home in St. Louis. While traveling weekly, we will ensure we are eating breakfast, lunch, and having an afternoon snack; engaging in tutoring with our teachers; swimming; playing outside; practicing some of our favorite sports in the gym; engaging in arts and crafts; and participating in activities such as Golf Camp; Tennis; Soccer; Music; Chess; and a variety of other activities.
