The core mission of the Summer Piano Intensive (SPI) is educating aspiring young pianists. Students participate in a variety of workshops and seminars and perform in weekly Friday concerts. SPI is primarily geared towards students ages 12 to 16. Younger students who demonstrate advanced playing level are encouraged to apply and will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

(Be advised, although we will do a fair amount of camping activities, BEACON is not a traditional camp. If you are interested in a traditional camping experience, please look into the other wonderful camps offered by the IGRC.)
