First Fridays for Kids Grades K-5th 6-8:30pm. (Long enough for YOU to have a night out!) Each month, the project will be different, so you can do as many months as you want!

Join us for a special creative bonding experience designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups. Each session features a unique collaborative project using quality materials and imaginative themes that will engage both kids and adults from start to finish. One ticket includes participation for one child and their caregiver.

At S&T’s oldest and largest summer camp, campers are introduced to a wide variety of engineering fields with engaging demonstrations and hands-on activities related to each discipline. Missouri S&T engineering departments will present brief overviews of their areas of focus, the exciting technological challenges on which their graduates work, and how different career fields might impact their futures. Campers will then have the opportunity to visit their top five departments for hands on activities, tours, and research presentations.

Do you know what the world would look like if we could use superconductors in everyday life? Superconductors can make hoverboards, flying cars, and quantum computers possible ... the only problem is that known superconductors only work near absolute zero which is -460 degrees Fahrenheit! We need young investigators like you to crack the secrets behind the quantum world of superconductors by creating measurement tools, studying the technologies behind manufacturing quantum computers, and even building a track for superconducting levitators.

What does it take to pursue a career in a health profession? Learn about the day in the life of health professionals and pre-health students at Missouri S&T! Through hands-on activities and case studies, campers will explore and solve real life problems within the health professions and meet faculty, local health care providers, and pre-health students.

Get hands on with atoms and molecules. Join us in the lab to do real chemistry that you can see, smell, touch ... and eat! Welcome to the exciting world of molecules and reactions! Chemistry is called the “central science” because it touches many other scientific disciplines. From a single atom to the entire cosmos, everything is made of chemicals, you included!

Disassemble gadgets, appliances, and electronics in this hands-on reverse engineering camp. If you enjoy taking things apart to see how everything works, this camp is for you! Learn engineering design principles by examining the inner workings of components like circuit boards and motors, then build new inventions to compete in a design competition with your fellow campers.

Learn about materials science and engineering at this free, week-long camp that features team-based, intensive problem-solving science experiences that are a unique blend of education and experimentation. Materials are the building blocks of civilizations, while advancements in technology are dependent on the available materials. Since materials science touches every aspect of engineering design, the study of materials provides opportunities for students to learn science and math in the context of diverse, real-world applications.

Living on My Own Camp teaches practical life skills like cooking, hygiene, and cleaning in a fun, hands-on environment. Campers gain confidence and independence as they learn how to take care of themselves and their personal space.

Each camp includes daily projects that incorporate all types of mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, etc. We will also incorporate games and other activities into our day.
