Summerscape is a summer program for gifted students who are currently enrolled in grades 6, 7 and 8. Gifted students are offered an opportunity to enhance their areas of interest, to investigate new ideas and to interact with their peers in a caring, safe, and fun learning . Besides participating in courses not offered in most schools, students familiarize themselves with life on a university campus. Classes meet Monday – Friday. Please check the information you receive after you register for times and locations. Classes meet July 14 – 18. The residential program runs July 13 – 20.

Studio options are Animation, Illustration, Interdisciplinary*, Painting, and 2D+3D Design. In addition to their chosen studios, all students will participate in sessions in other areas, including art history and life drawing.

Moonbird Yoga is headed to the Nature Institute for a 60-minute hike in nature before connecting more in a 60-minute yoga practice with a view of the Mississippi River. Then, stick around for a coffee from local shop Germania Brew Haus. Mark your calendar and grab your hiking boots along with your mat for a nature-centric Saturday morning outing! This program runs from 8 - 10 a.m on select Saturday mornings.

The Lodge Volleyball clinic takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled clinic! All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercise that focus on passing, setting, hitting, and serving.

Join hundreds of volunteers to help restore the Peruque and Dry Branch creeks with St. Charles County Parks and the Greenway Network. These streams are important to the health of our community and support a variety of wildlife and land uses. This program is for ages 6 and up. Register as an individual, family or organization. All participants must also sign a waiver. Sign up by March 26 to guarantee a free T-shirt. The deadline to register for the event is April 3. Come early for The Tree Seminar from 8-9 a.m. and following the Mission: Clean Stream volunteers are invited to Progress Park for a light lunch. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to sites. Dress for the weather. Bring gloves, water bottle and sturdy shoes or boots—no flip-flops or sandals. Trash is messy! Long pants and insect repellent are recommended. Be sure to sign a waiver prior to event. Participant under 18 must have waiver signed by parent prior.

This clean up will take place at Hideaway Harbor Park cleaning up along the banks of the Mississippi River, weather permitting. You may encounter uneven surfaces, mud, rocks, and various other tripping hazards.

Every summer, NubAbility brings together the largest gathering of limb-different athletes and coaches in the nation for our All Sports Camp in Du Quoin, Illinois. Now in its 14th year, this four-day event empowers limb-different youth through world-class coaching, mentorship, and community.

Are you looking for a fun summer activity for your kids? Tye-Dyed Iguana offers a one week summer camp in house! During our camp, your child will be immersed in a world of exotic reptiles and bugs through hands-on education and demonstrations. They will spend five days in our store doing crafts and learning about animals. They will also receive a Tye-Dyed Iguana T-shirt that the entire class will Tie-Dye during one of their afternoons. Summer camp is for Kindergarten - 6th grade.
