For children ages 5-13, why not beat the inevitable summer boredom by joining one of South County’s best summer camps, Kids in Action (K.I.A.), at Concord Lanes?

Since 2007, the Alberti Program has brought young people from across the St. Louis region to the Washington University campus for a hands-on experience tackling 2- and 3-dimensional problems in architectural design, with an eye toward the greater environment. They are introduced to the field of architecture through lectures, discussions, and reviews about design projects. They explore campus and connect with WashU graduate and undergraduate students, who serve as teaching assistants.

Students who will be entering the 7th or 8th grade in the fall of 2026 and who have demonstrated academic accomplishments, leadership, and maturity among their peers are invited to apply to our four-day residential camp. At CHI, campers will have the opportunity to meet other high ability learners from across the state while participating in one of three STEM based academic tracks. The instructors who lead these tracks are some of the brightest, most innovative educators from across the state.

Each of our camps include theme-related dance, music, dance games, arts and crafts, team activities, a dance obstacle course, and more!

If you’ve been to Day Camp and are ready to take your experience to the next level, join Crew! As a teen, you’ll grow in your faith through discipleship and Bible study, all while leading with enthusiasm, helping younger campers have the best week of their summer, and serving at your church. It’s a great way to gain service hours and real-world job experience, all while making a lasting impact!
