Play detective and explore the tasks involved in modern crime scene investigation by reconstructing an accident just like the professionals. Soak up the sun on Asbury’s campus with ImpactU’s high school summer camps! Want to learn like a college student? Join us this summer fora residential high school camp that focuses on a variety of content areas. You’ll be able to choose one subject area to study per week and enjoy academic sessions led by experienced faculty and talented college students multiple times each day. You’ll receive a five-day, college-like experience including all food, lodging, supplies, evening activities and hands-on exploration of an academic area in the context of a Christian community.

Work with STEM experts in top-notch facilities and with industry-grade equipment at BYU STEM Camp! BYU STEM camp will open your eyes to a new world of possibilities, giving you hands-on, immersive STEM experiences.

Experience quality professional instruction in Contemporary dance, jazz and ballet technique, composition, improvisation, repertory, and choreography from BYU’s nationally recognized dance faculty and guest instructors. Each day will include six intense hours of dance training in some of the finest facilities available. Classes are kept small so each participant will receive personal attention and beneficial feedback. Dancers will grasp new dimensions in dance as they view films and attend lectures on injury prevention, dance philosophy, and dance as art. Masterclasses will be offered on Folk, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, and Ballet. Gain experience in Composition and Improvisation, where dancers will be encouraged to create individual original movements. In Repertory, dancers will work with experienced choreographers, learning and performing choreography. Dancers will have an opportunity to showcase their learned skills and artistry in a closing demonstration performance. During free time, on-campus participants can relax and enjoy activities provided by our dance counselors. Other activities include swimming, bowling, dances, games, movies, contests, and skits. There will be some free time to explore the beautiful BYU campus, including shopping at the BYU Store and visiting the museums on campus.

In this program, you will use both traditional tools and cutting-edge technologies to explore your creative ideas in a college-level studio environment. You will develop both your conceptual and technical skills, preparing you for a wide range of opportunities in both art studies and careers. You will break through the boundaries of how you approach art, taking your work to the next level. Students will be introduced to the spirit and substance of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Art through challenging courses, individual critique, stimulating workshops, portfolio development, and energetic interaction with dedicated faculty and talented peers. Classes are held mornings and afternoons, Monday through Thursday, with elective workshops on Friday. The curriculum focuses on the fundamentals of technical skills and the growth of conceptual thinking and how those elements are applied to personal artistic practice.

In a rapidly evolving world, the Pre-College Leadership Development Program at the Tepper School of Business empowers students to rise to the challenges of leading with clarity, empathy, and purpose. Guided by Carnegie Mellon faculty, students will explore the art and science of leadership through a diverse set of interactive experiences - blending reflection, collaboration, and real-world application. The program introduces core social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) skills - such as self-awareness, adaptability, communication, and ethical decision-making - through a matrix of learning experiences that fuel curiosity and confidence. Students will tackle complex leadership challenges, navigate team dynamics, and strengthen their public speaking abilities, all while building the habits that drive academic excellence and career readiness. As artificial intelligence transforms the future of work, human-centered skills are more critical than ever. This program prepares students to lead with purpose and adaptability while laying a strong foundation for future academic and career success. By the end, students will leave with a clear leadership vision, practical tools for growth, and the confidence to make an impact in a rapidly changing world.

Pre-College Summer Session provides high school students with the unique opportunity to take summer courses offered by Carnegie Mellon University for credit. Students earn college credit while working in an academic setting that mirrors the supportive, rigorous environment of the first year of college. Every year, Summer Session offers approximately thirty courses from academic disciplines across the university, including: science, humanities, social science, engineering, computer science, and technology applied to the arts. Successful Summer Session students leverage their experiences to demonstrate their ability to succeed in college. Upon successful completion of a course, they receive college credit at Carnegie Mellon University, which is transferable to other institutions that accept CMU college courses for credit.

Campers will explore the variety and complexity of life on our planet from the biome to the molecular level. Campers will do experiments in neuroscience & psychology, bacterial evolution, viruses, biotechnology, and more! They will explore ancient life forms in our Geoscience Museum, learn about fermentation in our food science kitchen, and study the ecology of the Duck Pond.

All camp swim instructors are American Red Cross lifeguards and CPR certified. Open to non-members. Designed for AGES 5-13. Campers will be grouped by swim level.

Instructional format. The focus of an i9 Sports instructional program is to teach children the age-specific fundamentals of the sport. Each week an i9 Sports certified coach will lead the group, with the help of volunteer parent coaches, in activities before dividing them into teams for game play so they can put their daily practice topic to use.
