Join Madame Marusic for a fun-filled cooking class across the U.S.A. In this hands-on experience, kids will learn basic cooking skills, explore the flavors of our country, and create a dish for each meal. We’ll start here in Missouri with homemade toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake! The students will help choose the recipes and eat our creations. No peanut/tree nut ingredients will be used, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any other food allergies. Bon appétit!

Join our chess club and learn how to play this great game. No prior experience is required to participate. More advanced strategies and concepts will be taught to experienced students, and we will have a class chess tournament and short award ceremony on our last day.

Water fun will include using sprinklers, water blasters, and water balloons. Come enjoy mornings filled with sunny, beach-day excitement!

Step up your dance game with The Recreation Academy’s Hip Hop program, where experienced instructors will guide you through learning new moves, skills, and routines. From isolation movements and dynamic footwork to creating a choreographed piece, this program welcomes dancers of beginner to mid-level experience. Elevate your skills in an energetic environment that celebrates creativity!

If you like Legos, you will LOVE this class! Join other brickheads in building and designing Lego creations that revolve around themes and teach strategy, flexibility, and creative thinking—skills that parents and children never knew plastic pieces could provide. TONS of bricks will be provided, as well as instruction booklets (sometimes) as students build their own fun. Daily books, projects, and building will lead to a remarkable week.

Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, and solve real-world engineering problems, just like NASA astronauts and engineers. Think and act as NASA engineers as you work with a team to make a pasta rover, parachute, and more! Then repurpose your projects to use on earth!

Campers will explore the magical world of musical theatre! This is sure to be a fantastical journey through some of Disney’s most enchanting, kid-friendly musicals like “Alice in Wonderland,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Cinderella,” “101 Dalmatians,” and more! Campers will be introduced to costumes and props and will perform a magical showcase the last day of camp for families and friends.

Put your creativity and building skills to use as you and your campmates make your own putters out of wood and design and build your own mini golf holes!

Top Fun is back! Do you love paper airplanes, but just can’t get your planes to fly right? Come to paper airplane flight school and earn your wings by learning about flight, paper folding, and more. We will experiment with a variety of paper airplanes and learn how to adjust them for maximum fun! So sign up to get your paper airplane pilot’s license and call sign!

Calling all creative kids! Join me for a fabulous week of Perler Bead crafting. You’ll make your own creation to take home each day. We will also work together to design a group project. Don’t miss out on this delightful camp!

Mr. Mohr (Founder of Wormboards Skateboard Company) will teach students to saw, file, and sand their very own skateboard! He will also teach them how to ride a skateboard so they can safely enjoy the board they make when the camp is over. At the end of the week Mr. Mohr will build out the decks with quality supplies from Madrid Skateboards and Full Circle Distribution so each student leaves with a professional-quality skateboard that they can ride with ease. Campers must wear helmets in order to skate so please send them with helmets each day. Wrist and knee guards, water bottles, and sunscreen are all optional but recommended

During this awesome camp, participants will be separated into appropriate age groups, and activities will change every 30-60 minutes. This program is structured to keep your child engaged, learning, and having fun throughout the morning.
