Local District Day Camps bring the Cub Scout camp experience closer to home. Hosted at convenient locations across the region, these camps offer five days of outdoor fun, games, and exploration with friends

Grow and improve your leadership skills while following the guidelines of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Scouts earning the National Youth Leadership Training shield are better prepared to interact with adult leaders and face the challenges and demands ahead.

Learning to code becomes collaborative, active, and joyful! Use Unruly Splats (programmable floor buttons) to code and play sports-themed games that teach computational thinking skills, teamwork, and ingenuity through movement and play! Work together to brainstorm, code, and test creative new versions of Splats games, building teamwork and design skills. We’ll be moving, thinking, and laughing while they develop real coding skills with minimal screen time. Perfect for kids of all experience levels, beginners and young coders welcome.

Freedom School is a free, six-week summer program serving scholars in grades K–5 across the St. Louis region. Hosted by Beyond Housing in partnership with Deaconess Foundation, our program focuses on building strong readers, confident leaders, and joyful learners through culturally responsive education and meaningful community connections.

A playful week of pet-inspired creativity where campers paint, draw, and sculpt adorable animal-themed artwork.

Campers learn about famous pop art styles while creating bright, graphic artwork inspired by comics, culture, and bold color.

Meet the amazing Camp Cedarledge horses! Girl Scouts will tour the barn, groom a horse, take a ride while being led by a wrangler, make horse crafts and enjoy a snack at the barn.

This camp is perfect for our youngest horse enthusiasts! Girl Scouts travel to the barn with their unit to ride a horse while being led by a wrangler, learn and practice grooming, and tour the barn. When they aren't spending time with the horses, campers swim, hike, and create crafts.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind day adventure in the historic city of St. Charles! Walk along the charming Main Street, uncover the city's rich history, and see why this area is so special. Along the way, Brownies earn their Celebrating Community Badge.

Nothing compares to the excitement of visiting camp for the first time! Girl Scout Daisies and their caregivers will explore camp with their unit and counselors. The agenda includes hiking, crafts, swimming and roasting s'mores around the campfire. Campers should attend with one caregiver.

Become a voice for animals in Animal Advocates! Take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Humane Society, including the animal shelter and veterinary center, and discover how the organization cares for pets in need. Juniors will learn about pet overpopulation, how shelters help animals find homes, and what it means to be an advocate for animal welfare. Then, they'll take what they've learned to educate others and take action in their communities. By the end of the program, Girl Scouts will earn their Animal Habitats Badge and their Take Action Award.
