Camp Kesem is a free, overnight summer camp for children ages 6-18 who are coping with a parent’s cancer. This unique camp experience provides fun-filled activities and a supportive community, helping kids navigate anxiety, isolation, and uncertainty — reminding them they are never alone. Every day at Camp Kesem is an opportunity for campers to try something new, make great friends, and have fun!

For aspiring chefs, children ages 7 to 11. Spend three creative days in the kitchen with Lydia Gwin learning everything about baking sweet and savory dishes. This hands-on class will learn to make soft pretzel bites with cheese dip, mini pizza rolls, cinnamon sugar pull-apart bread, classic vanilla muffins with chocolate chips and berries, cheesy garlic knots, mini hand pies with ham-and-cheese or chicken, chocolate chip cookie bars, mini fruit galettes, whipped cream and berry parfaits, mini cheddar biscuits, baked mac-and-cheese cups, cupcakes with piped frosting, cinnamon roll pinwheels, and decorated sugar cookie medals.

Learn the fundamentals of becoming an equestrian, and learn to lead, groom, and tack a horse using our very own small herd of miniature horses. Campers will also receive a pony ride on a full size horse that will be led by their instructor each day!

Campers will have hands on farming experiences such as being introduced to farm animals, gardening, learning about plants, and collecting eggs daily. Campers will also get the opportunity to ride horses 3 of the DAYS during the week of Little Ranchers Camp!

5-day horse riding camps for ages 7-14. Monday- Friday. THIS IS NOT A JUMPING CAMP!!! Requirements: Must have taken Manes & Tails Camp previously! The camper has the desire to learn the basic techniques of English riding that is needed to advance towards the ability to jump. The ability to steer your horse efficiently at the walk and trot. You are also eligible if you are in our lesson program or already take English lessons.

5-day Hunter Hounds horse riding camp for ages 7-14. Monday – Friday. Requirements: Camper must be able to walk, trot (sitting and posting) and canter. Camper must be able to identify the correct diagonal at a posting trot. Camper must be a current intermediate level English rider in lessons at Kraus Farms and have started to trot and canter over cross-rails in lessons. If you are not currently in our lesson program you must have completed at least 1-2 weeks of Snaffle Bits camp to be eligible to move up to Hunter Hounds. If you are unsure if you qualify for this camp please ask your instructor.

String Crossings is Belmont University’s annual week-long summer camp where current high school string students learn and perform music from a diverse set of genres including classical, jazz, rock, celtic, swing, and bluegrass. Students have the opportunity to study with Belmont's world-renowned faculty, explore creative musicianship and technique in all styles, participate in interactive performances, and immerse themselves in an exciting week of making music with new friends!
