At U-CREATE Summer Camp, campers can expect an array of sports, recreational activities, crafts, and team building challenges that meet the diverse interests and capabilities of our campers. Campers will build meaningful relationships with fellow campers and staff while creating their U-CREATE legacy this summer! The camp will run Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. All of our camp counselors are CPR/AED and First Aid certified for children.

Each day builds upon their eagerness to explore with age-appropriate academics, creative experiences, and a supportive environment where children grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. With attentive teachers and small class sizes, we tailor experiences to each child, making this summer both engaging and hands-on. Two, Three, Four Day options also available.

Join Rossman’s Señora Delgado for summer fun! Naturally learn Spanish through play! Yoga, movement games, and themed days and activities will provide students with exposure to Spanish within an interactive and playful classroom environment full of stories, song, art, and games.

Each day brings exciting new challenges, where campers will learn advanced LEGO techniques, collaborate on imaginative projects, and test their creativity. Learn to work the field and collaborate with your team in this sports camp, alternating between soccer and ultimate frisbee! Games and drills will develop skills like ball control, passing, throwing, and marking in game play. Taught by Rossman PE teacher Mr. Holliday.

Join Rossman’s dining team for a culinary adventure! After touring the Rossman kitchen, campers will learn how to be safe and organized as they set out to prepare tasty foods. Campers will enjoy making a variety of dishes from breakfast favorites to lunch and dinner meals to fan-favorite desserts.

How would you like to turn your next LEGO® creation into a robot, programmed to do exactly what you tell it to do? Join us for this high energy and fun robotic engineering camp where campers will build a new robot each day while learning programming on powerful software including LEGO® WeDo and Scratch programming platforms. This is a great camp to introduce students to the world of programming.

Alternate between two student-favorite sports–flag football and wiffle ball–to learn skills and tactics to improve in both sports through drills and plenty of games! Taught by Rossman’s Mr. Holliday.

During this 4-day residential pharmacy course, you’ll discover the expanding role pharmacists play in improving patient lives. You will gain insight into the various science disciplines involved in the research and development of pharmaceutical products and patient care. This camp will evolve as you first learn the history of pharmacy and then progress through an enriching set of hands-on experiences that will expose you to a vast array of pharmacy disciplines. With the guidance of experienced ONU faculty and health care leaders in the area, you will learn drug modeling, design and development; work in a compounding lab; venture into the field of pharmacy where you will visit multiple pharmacy settings; perform research on drug information; and learn more about the expanding role of pharmacists in patient care, assessment and counseling. Lastly, through hands-on lab and research experiences, you will learn the steps required to manufacture a product and how to counsel patients on the use of medications.
