For teens ready to step up from camper to counselor, our LIT program offers training in leadership, character development, and youth-working skills. Financial assistance is available. Camp EDI (The Ed & Gloria Hirsch Camp for Children with Diabetes) is an overnight camp established in 1952 and has served over 5,000 campers. ADA Camp EDI provides an outdoor recreational experience that promotes healthy living with diabetes based on the fundamental principles of exercise, diet, and insulin. This camp is the only residential camp in the area designed for and dedicated to children and teens living with diabetes.

Learn from School of Pharmacy faculty and students about what it's like to be a member of UMKC at all three campus locations.

Teen Camp is a specialty program of Camp No Limits focused on developing life skills such as friendship, leadership, mentorship, and team building. Teen campers and siblings work together to challenge themselves, support each other, and learn from older CNL amputee mentors and sibling program leaders. This camp is unique because parents and guardians do not attend.

Camp No Limits – Idaho takes place on the beautiful shores of Coeur d’Alene Lake, offering a rustic and scenic setting for adventure. Accessibility is limited at this location, but the lake is the heart of the experience, with plenty of time for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. Evenings and afternoons are spent around the campfire, enjoying s’mores, singing camp songs, and connecting with fellow families and volunteers. The Camp Cross staff leads fun group activities and entertainment throughout the week. This year marks our 20th Anniversary in Idaho, making it an extra special celebration!

Camp No Limits – Maine is set on the stunning North Pond, where the waterfront is always buzzing with activity. Campers may enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and boat rides. Adventure Day is a favorite, featuring a rock wall tower, bungee trampoline, and more waterfront fun.
