During the week, you will have an opportunity to explore Maryland Engineering!  You will participate in a variety of activities including laboratory work and demonstrations, lectures, discussions, computer instruction, and a team design project. You will visit each of the eight engineering departments to learn more about the specific degree programs, majors, and minors. Within the network of support provided by the instructors, program advisors, and peers, you will have the opportunity to build self-confidence in applying your math, science, and engineering skills.

This innovative program uses relatable youth instructors, interactive virtual lessons, and hands-on reading activities to increase boys’ vocabularies and to inspire them to read for fun.

Learn and play various backyard games—some classic and some new! Croquet, washers, KanJam, kickball, wiffleball, cornhole, and more will be instructed and played throughout the week. Students will get to try various pairings and individual games, culminating in a tournament at the end of the week. The goal will be playing new games and making new friends in the beautiful, huge backyard of Community School.

Camp Pokémon welcomes all players entering 2nd-6th grades, regardless of their skill level or familiarity with Pokémon. All cards and materials will be provided.
