Learning to code becomes collaborative, active, and joyful! Use Unruly Splats (programmable floor buttons) to code and play sports-themed games that teach computational thinking skills, teamwork, and ingenuity through movement and play! Work together to brainstorm, code, and test creative new versions of Splats games, building teamwork and design skills. We’ll be moving, thinking, and laughing while they develop real coding skills with minimal screen time. Perfect for kids of all experience levels, beginners and young coders welcome.

Campers put their equestrian skills to the test as an AWIT! AWITs learn leadership skills through working with younger campers during barn lessons, in-camp activities, and assisting wranglers with horse care. Campers will still participate in riding lessons and traditional camp activities.

Volunteering in Programs (VIP) training is designed to help Cadettes discover their talents in mentoring and leading younger girls. They will gain the confidence, knowledge and expertise needed to guide Girl Scouts, and prepares them to hold future leadership positions within and outside of Girl Scouting. Our older Girl Scouts will help create and run three Day Programs at Fiddlecreek for Juniors, Brownies, and Daisies. Then, they'll have their own fun at camp in the evenings when the younger kids go home before sleeping over in the comfort of Myrtle's Manor. We will have a required virtual pre-meeting on June 19, 6-7 pm. Cadettes earn their Program Aide Award.

Whether you're a middle school student discovering your voice in our new CC Staged Voices program or diving deeper into musical excellence at our residential CC Choir Fest experience, you'll find expert instruction from Columbia College faculty and renowned guest artists in a supportive, inspiring environment. Both four-day programs culminate in showcase performances while offering unique opportunities to develop vocal skills, build confidence, form lasting friendships, and create unforgettable musical memories.

At CSI: Columbia College, we hope to excite and educate 11th-12th graders for a future in a CSI-related field. Our camp will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in forensics.

Students will dive into the world of pollination by listening to the book “My Pollinator Garden” by Jordan Zwetchkenbaum and then take a nature walk to look for pollinators in our gardens!

Freedom School is a free, six-week summer program serving scholars in grades K–5 across the St. Louis region. Hosted by Beyond Housing in partnership with Deaconess Foundation, our program focuses on building strong readers, confident leaders, and joyful learners through culturally responsive education and meaningful community connections.
