Campers uncover the range of comic book genres as we design original cartoon characters and place them in our own comic strips. We learn how to strengthen our drawing skills as we work on facial expressions and poses. We develop crazy critters and magnificent monsters, supervillains, and heroes. Then, we pull them together in stories to create our own comic strips and books. Cartooning Character Creations concludes with campers bringing home the work they created.

Kids should bring both a morning and afternoon snack. They can bring a sack lunch or purchase at The Sports Academy in-person or online.

This beginners photography course will teach students how to create amazing and creative images. Whether you have a regular camera or a phone camera this class will explore the basics of using camera angles and lighting to create their masterpieces!

Join us this winter as we escape into a Winter Wonderland Extravaganza! This winter break we will have an action-packed traditional camp experience where kids will laugh, explore, and create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime! Campers will experience several themed days, crafts, games, field trips and more, held at the Ferguson Community Center.
