Do you have a pre-schooler that just loves to paint and read stories? Every Friday we'll read a story and paint a ceramic piece that goes with the story. We'll also have other crafts to do and a snack. $18 per child. The book or ceramic piece is subject to change due to supply issues.

A two-day, online short film challenge for kids and teens. Students are given specific conditions for their project in a 48-hour film festival style. In class, they will learn the basics of storytelling, cinematography, and editing as they make their own short films. The workshop culminates in a final screening of their own work with all workshop participants.

The 2-Day Film Production Workshop is an accelerated program where students aged 10-13 make a short film. Camp Aldersgate’s Weekend Programs provide developmentally appropriate opportunities for our campers that promote cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth in a fun, engaging camp setting. Weekend Programs are offered at least once a month during the school year.

Young space travelers explore elements of the Star Wars legends through children’s books like Good Night Darth Vader, A Pop-Up Guide to the Galaxy, and Star Wars: Heroes. Then, we create our own Jedi, aliens, clones, creatures, and stories through art, movement, and drama. Expand your imagination into a galaxy far, far away! May the Force Be with You concludes with campers bringing home the work they created. Campers are expected to be fully toilet trained and use the toilet independently. Features multiple professional teaching artists to present a variety of arts disciplines.

Athletic, high-energy campers enjoy practicing circus, trampoline, and aerial work. They explore stilt walking, rola bola, rolling globe, tightrope walking, juggling, spinning plates, balancing peacock feathers, diablo, flower sticks, and clowning skills before selecting a skill (or two) to master during the week. Circus COCA concludes with an in-person circus extravaganza to share with family and friends during the final 20 minutes of camp. Campers should wear shorts or shorts under skirts or dresses.

Take a wintery ride on a golf cart at the Ballwin Golf Course to see Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and pictures. Bundle up as you ride the cart path to Santa's special location, and count all the candy canes on the way. Those that count the right number of candy canes will receive a special prize at Santa's location on the course. But beware of the MEAN GREEN GROUCH who will disrupt your trip. He has been extra mean this year and will do anything he can to make you miscount the candy canes. Kids are encouraged to be on their best behavior on their way to see Santa, the MEAN GREEN GROUCH with have enough naughty for the whole group.
