Hang out with CJ's very own Chef Zach and Flynn's Foods! Learn simple recipes, kitchen safety and basic knife skills while preparing a meal or snack each day to enjoy or take home. Students will use a chef's knife, saute in hot pans, bake, and wash their own dishes -- all while gaining confidence and independence in the kitchen.

Get ready to mix, measure, and bake your way through an exciting week of hands-on fun in the kitchen! Aspiring young bakers will learn the fundamentals of baking—from proper measuring techniques and bake times to decorating like a pro. Our campers will explore different types of kitchen equipment, follow step-by-step recipes, and create delicious treats from scratch. But the best part? Everything they bake, they get to take home! Whether your son is a beginner or already loves to bake, they’ll gain confidence in the kitchen while having a blast with friends.

As we get older, we all need to learn the skills that we will use as grown ups. Cooking, cleaning, organizing, and self care are all executive skills we need to establish. In home ec camp, you can learn how to prep and cook and practice grooming saiis suchias learning simple hair styles. Learn to use an iron to iron on patches and create embroidery patterns for pillow cases. We will create a recipe book for cookies, cakes, and many other dishes that we will cook.
