Looking for a creative and social activity for your young adult at home? This Adaptive Young Adult program is for participants with social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and/or medical needs that require an adaptive program environment for participation (and for parents who are looking for a break in their day). Participants will meet others, get creative with simple art projects, and enjoy light snacks in a relaxed and social setting. Program participant requirements: must be able to meet activities of daily living (toileting, eating/drinking independently) with minimal support and be able to follow program safety and behavior management guidelines with prompting from staff. Questions about whether this program is a good fit for your young adult? Please contact Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed Inclusion Specialist Chloe Burcke at burckechloe@prcommunityed.org.
