Oil Painting Basics for Teens

Do you have experience with painting, but want to learn about oil paints? In this teen camp, artists will learn techniques like color mixing, underpainting, identifying shadows and highlights, and different brush techniques to try and tackle this medium. This camp is intended for beginner oil painters who are ready to take their art abilities to the next level. A basic understanding of painting is helpful! Teens will paint from a still life, that the students and instructor collaborate to set up. Students may bring their own item to contribute to the still life. Supplies are included in the cost of the class.
