Oil Painting for the Young Artist

Does your artist have experience with painting, but want to learn about oil paints? In this camp, artists will learn techniques like color mixing, underpainting, identifying shadows and highlights, and different brush techniques to try and tackle this medium. This camp is intended for beginner oil painters who are ready to take their art abilities to the next level. A basic understanding of painting is helpful! Young Artists will paint from observation, as well as from photographs to make works they are proud to show off! Supplies are included in the cost of the class and students are responsible for bringing their own lunch.
