Drawing for the Young Artists Session #2

From preparing the paper to showing a finished drawing, Drawing for the Young Artists explores the ins and outs of how to draw like a professional artist while learning the fundamentals needed to best represent 3-dimensional space on a 2-dimensional surface. The instructor will familiarize the class with artist-quality materials while completing drawings from life using different drawing media like compressed charcoal, vine charcoal, and graphite pencils. By the end of the week, students will have a deeper understanding of how to draw the world around them and how to push their talents beyond what they knew they could achieve. Supplies are included in the cost of the class and students are responsible for bringing their own lunch.
