Cinematic Voices: Make a Movie

Lights, camera, collaboration! Cinematic Voices: Make a Movie is a full-day, week-long immersive camp where preteens come together to create an original short film from start to finish. Students will collaborate to develop a story, storyboard their ideas, write scenes, and bring characters to life on camera—using the camp grounds as their filming studio. Throughout the week, campers will explore the foundations of storytelling, acting for the camera, and introductory film and editing techniques. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, creative problem-solving, and focused collaboration as students work efficiently and creatively toward a shared goal. The experience culminates in a big-screen premiere at the final showcase, and each family receives the finished film as a lasting keepsake. A truly unique camp that blends creativity, performance, and collaboration in an exciting, fast-moving, and deeply rewarding creative process.
