Advanced Robotics: It’s the big moment! You’ll complete and test out the robot that you’ve have assembled throughout the week! As a team, you’ll use your imaginations to create their own robot designs and recycle materials to make a model of your team’s design.
Circuit Science: Explore the “nuts and bolts” of robots as you build simple circuits. Test them out and discover how switches work. Find out what materials will conduct electricity best in robots as you check out a plasma ball. Construct your own scribble bot from scratch
Ready for Robots!: Explore the fundamentals of robotics and discover how robots are used. Find out what gears have in common with robots! Discover how robots need to have their movements co-operate as you with your friends on a co-op-a-walk. Make your own squiggle ball.
Robots 101: Learn about Asimov’s Laws of Robotics and their application to robot technology. Go on a bug hunt to learn how robots’ movements are similar to those seen in nature. Take home a springy robot-like hand that you work with your fingers.
Use Your Common Sensors: The world of robots is at their command as you build on your understanding of circuits. Build a system of snap circuits. Explore how robots use sensors as you play games that use your senses to communicate. Use your very own circuit maze to explore more.
