Does applying color feel like a nuisance or challenge when approaching your compositions? Or maybe you’ve heard “color theory” but don’t know how or where to start learning.

Summer Scholars is a program offered through the SLU School of Medicine for high school students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. It is a three week program where students are introduced to various specialties, hands-on activities, and ACT Prep. Our students will participate in a community service project as well as complete a research project that will be presented at the culminating event of the program.

This academy is designed for students entering grades 6-10 in fall 2024. Students will learn how to write computer code, learn basic math concepts, learn important geographical concepts, and learned how to use software to make maps.
