Color your world in with the nature around us! We will spend the week exploring the outdoors and getting crafty with the nature that inspires us at Ballard Nature Center. We will have a new craft/art project inspired by the nature that we explore, plus we will be making a fun swap each day. We will also be enjoying all the fun day camp activities of hiking, fishing, and archery. Each night we will be serving dinner after the campers arrive.

Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure at our Girl Scout day camp themed "Space is the Place"! Blast off into a weekend filled with cosmic exploration, where girls will embark on a journey through the galaxy and beyond. From building and launching rockets to stargazing and learning about the wonders of the universe, campers will engage in hands-on activities that ignite their curiosity and inspire their love for all things space-related.

Mini STEM Camp is a two-day day camp just for Daisies and Brownies! This year campers will learn all about engineering and earn their Think Like an Engineer Journey. Camp fees include all activities during camp, age-level Think Like an Engineer Journey, fun patch, t-shirt, and snacks each day. Camp will take place from 9:00 am-3:00 pm each day. Campers will be required to pack a sack lunch each day, but snacks will be provided.

During this six-day overnight camp, youll learn about the world of forensics, test your sleuthing abilities, and enjoy traditional camp activities.

Rising 7th & 8th Graders (as of Fall 2024). Spend time with new and old friends and enjoy two field trips and three swim days per week. Plus arts and crafts, STEM activities, and sports! Please note: We've planned plenty of fun activities, so enjoy some time unplugged and keep the phones put away.

Ages 8-14. Join our National Junior Tennis League Camp for players of all skill levels. Pickleball will be added to the curriculum!

The 1-Week Medical Academy introduces you to the field of medicine and gives you a glimpse into the Georgetown University Medical Center, which includes the nationally ranked School of Medicine and School of Nursing & Health Studies, in addition to the world-renowned Lombardi Cancer Center. You'll explore topics ranging from human anatomy, physiology, and radiology to surgery, cancer, biomedical ethics, and procurement of human tissues. You’ll participate in hands-on labs, including suturing, orthopedic casting, small mammal dissection, and use of a patient simulator. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with current medical students, Georgetown University School of Medicine faculty, and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital physicians to learn about the path to becoming a physician, discover ways to succeed in medical school, and explore a variety of medical specialties.
