Customize your own Minecraft world and mod the classic game in this one-of-a-kind camp.  Learn scripting and logic statements as you create your first mods.  Students will create a wide variety of new elements, gameplay mechanics, and world generating mods to change the way you play Minecraft.  Projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students must have the Java version of Minecraft to take this camp.  Tablet, phone, and game console versions of Minecraft are not compatible.  Returing students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years.

Fans of Fortnite and Rumbleverse, we need YOU! Instead of just playing a multiplayer game, develop your own with Unity, a professional 3D game development software. Design your own unique magical level, build 3D models, and cast spells with custom-created wands. At the end of the week, all student-created maps are combined into a master game where you will battle to become the last wizard standing. Compete against other schools across the country in our Esports League, with the possibility of having your map included in the live game. Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Using LEGO®, we will build worlds for Mario to jump through, mechanisms to make Sonic spin and take down Robotnik, as well as your own custom Smash Bros. arenas to battle in. Under the guidance of a Play-Well instructor, you will gear up to take down the final boss. Are you game?
