Chess Summer Camps are the perfect way to introduce the game of chess to new students, deepen understanding of the game for established players, or offer intensive instruction for aspiring chess masters.

A magical summer awaits at Camp Pegnita! We are an old-fashioned day-camp where campers fill their summer days with archery, arts and crafts and classic outdoor sports and games like Volleyball and Capture the Flag. Campers swim daily in our on-site outdoor pool and are given the time to explore our gorgeous six acres of land. They've even been known to build a fort or two! Campers are divided into groups, based on age and gender, with counselors assigned to each group.

Let’s go outside to explore, experiment, and just have fun. We will get dirty while we gain independence and use our imaginations to take risks. We want to ensure healthy bodies, creative minds, and strong social skills. Campers will need a swimsuit, towel, and a change of clothes daily. Barefoot and Balanced is offered in the morning and afternoon. Campers can attend either one or both.

Kid’s ages 7 – 10 yrs. are encouraged to learn, laugh, and experience new things as they grow closer to friends, family, and God.

Sports camp allows campers to experience a variety of different sports and exercises while strengthening their understanding of the Gospel. There will be a low level of competition and lots of fun.

Trash to treasures is a great way to teach children about the importance of reusing and recycling materials. Campers will develop their creativity and imagination while also learning about environmental responsibility.

Take a week-long trip through a timeline of theatre history, while learning a sampling of performing arts skills! Decorate a Greek tragedy mask, try out some swashbuckling moves with Shakespearean (foam) sword combat, learn the basics of clowning during a slapstick comedy routine, unleash your inner Jim Henson with puppeteering techniques, trip the light fantastic with some Broadway-inspired choreography, and more! Whether students are new to the world of theatre, or are seasoned Thespians, this class will be the perfect introduction to some of the performing (and behind-the-scenes) elements that go into making magic onstage!

Camp Birchwood is nestled on the sunny shores of a gorgeous lake in Northern Minnesota. Surrounded by magnificent evergreens and shaded by whispering birch trees, Birchwood's private location provides the ideal setting for fun and exciting activities on both land and water.
