THIS CAMP IS OFFSITE AT: Ascension School 238 Santa Maria Dr., Chesterfield MO 63005 Whether you love water slides or relaxing in a lazy river, this camp will meet all of your water park adventure dreams. Campers will explore a variety of water parks in the area, attending a new park each day of the week. In the case of inclement weather, alternate field trips will be planned. Must be 48" tall to participate in this camp due to water park regulations. The camp fee includes admission costs.

Each session offers four engaging classes that every Tech Trek camper attends.

Learn and apply some of the key principles of engineering as you build your solutions to a variety of challenges.  Put your creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to the test in this exciting new course!

Teams of campers will create fictitious ancient (or perhaps futuristic) cultures. Your team will create evidence of how this civilization thrived, its economy, tools, language, etc. The evidence you create will actually be buried on a remote site on campus. Each team will become archaeologists and will attempt to unearth and unlock the secrets of another team’s civilization.

 Understanding the purpose and the learning objective of reading assignments and writing tasks becomes more challenging at the secondary school level. However, applying the correct strategies ensures that students are actively engaged in the assigned texts and are pursuing meaningful insights in their responses. In this workshop, students will develop their skills in literary analysis and writing through practice activities with the summer reading in an effort to simulate the experience of an English classroom at the Upper School level. We will work on identifying strong evidence while reading a text to support paragraph arguments, as well as build a personal “tool kit” of strategies for analyzing literary devices, brainstorming for writing assignments, participating in discussions, and preparing for feedback sessions with teachers. Moving on to the next level doesn’t need to be a mystery or a struggle; let’s work together to be prepared.

A strong start for high school science is key to success. STEM 0.5 is a way for students to learn important information and practice foundational skills necessary for success in the 9th-grade science course. Topics and skills include data collection, experimental design, graphing and data analysis, and dimensional analysis. In addition, we will use the Maker Space to complete a few engineering challenges.

Camp Taum Sauk is a private co-ed overnight camp for kids 8-15 years old. Family owned and operated, we are dedicated to providing kids with an amazing summer camp experience in a safe, nurturing, fun atmosphere.

Circus Harmony Summer Perfomance Camps at City Museum are a unique opportunity where particpants get to both learn and perform circus arts.

MMA’s Equestrian Camp focuses on building confidence and responsibility through horseback riding. Campers will enjoy 2.5 hours (8 AM to 10:30 AM) of instruction each morning, which consists of daily trail rides through MMA’s beautiful 288-acre campus and learning different western horsemanship techniques, such as saddling, mounting, walking and galloping, along with other important horse management skills like safety, grooming and handling.  

This six week program, starting June 5, 2023 offers formal job training with our professional staff. The Counselors in Training will practice newly-learned skills through role playing and on the job training exercises. Our goal is to train our staff of tomorrow, so applicants undergo a rigorous selection process and must be willing to commit to set schedules in order to participate. Interested candidates must apply first, and then go through a formal interview. If chosen, an approved applicant can then register for the program. This is a competitive program and we will be limiting the number of spots offered. Applications are available online or at the front desk.
