Girl Scout Day Camps are the perfect way to start a new summer tradition, try new things, make new friends and experience new places!

Daisies and Brownies will earn their Outdoor Badge during this half-week session .

Campers are invited to explore a vast and playful indoor/outdoor learning environment. Session themes are developed by our team of teachers and experienced early childhood specialists who understand how to create fun and inviting activities for all children. Kids enjoy themed activities, P.E., and swim instruction. The theme for this session is The Enchanted Forest! All things springy!

Roll up your sleeves, put on your makers cap, and get ready to create! This is our most hands-on camp! Together, campers will build a geodesic dome large enough to sit in. Who can build the strongest bridge? Can your bridge withstand the shake rattle and roll challenge? Explore the world of birds and beasts with bird feeder building and our super bug investigation. Speaking of birds, what did Hooty the owl have for dinner? A mouse? A Squirrel? A Frog? Kids will dissect owl pellets and reconstruct Hooty’s dinner. Enter the Mad Science chemistry lab and mix, mash, and brew concoctions to create cool sidewalk chalk and bath fizzers! Assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults, simple machines, and megapinchers! Campers will discover the wonders of photography and make their own chromatography-dyed T-shirt. It’s a week packed with non-stop science fun! Complimentary after-care is included from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Additional before and after-care is available through Ballwin Parks and Recreation.

Experience art and nature through play, hands-on projects, and exploration of the Park!

They say the neon lights are bright…..on Broadway. Students in this camp will explore all aspects of theatre, through acting exercises, theatre games, dance numbers, use of puppets, and much more.

The tactile possibilities are endless! From scaly bubble wrap to fluffy felt; learn to add another sensory layer to your work of art! Get ready for a soft, squishy, scratchy, and bouncy week while we traverse touch and texture through the use of found and recycled materials.

How do you draw a sound? We will use sound to inspire our creative visions; transporting us to our wildest daydreams! Sounds of Tower Grove Park, Arsenal Street, birds, bands, neighbors walking by all serve as inspiration as we explore the connection between the world around us and the art we make.

Get ready for an adventure of heroic events as we salute our heroes.
