The Northside Youth and Senior Services Center provides a fun and educational camp for St. Louis children ages 5 to 17 each summer. It’s a chance for kids to explore, make new friends, and enjoy fun and educational activities. All for no charge to families.

We will adventure through all parts of the kitchen as campers learn about cooking, cleaning, and best of all...eating!

It is our goal to stimulate the process of discovery by introducing campers to a variety of recreational activities designed for each age group and skill level. We hope to create a special atmosphere in which friendships can be formed and campers can express themselves and grow while creating lasting memories. Recreational activities include sports, swimming, cooking, arts and crafts, games, weekly field trips and team building around each week's theme. Our energetic and well-qualified staff, under the direction of the Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness, is comprised of professionals in recreation and education and students interested in those fields.

Saint Louis University’s Gardens to Tables Culinary Camp is a week-long program engaging campers in gardening, cooking and nutrition activities. Campers prepare a variety of meals and work with professional chefs, registered dietitians, and master gardeners to learn principles of good nutrition, gardening and a healthy lifestyle. The camps are designed for children entering 2nd-6th grades with a special Teen’s Only Week (June 26-30) and an exciting Junior-Chef Week for children entering Kindergarten-3rd grade (July 10-14).

Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure - explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to the Ivory Coast, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola® products, while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. Make different masterpieces each day, such as drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses, and more!
