Join Camp Ondessonk for a traditional coed camp experience and become prepared for everyday living. Units on one side of Lake Echon are designated for male campers and the other side for female campers. Overnight campouts and sleeping quarters are gender-specific, with boys and girls supervised by the appropriate gender of staff. The Coed Camp schedule includes horseback riding, archery, riflery, council, swimming, nature exploration, handicrafts, woodcrafts, canoeing/kayaking, campfires, an overnight campout, marathon, tug-of-war, and much more. Wow!

Explore what remains of historic Fort Kaskaskia by participating in an archaeological dig during the day, then explore a college campus in the evenings. Fort Kaskaskia consists of both an American and a French fort on two separate locations; the Lewis and Clark expedition stopped at the fort in 1803 to pick up troops and supplies for their trip.
