Join us at the 2024 MJ Performing Arts Academy Summer Camp, where campers will have the option of two different sessions per week.

Rock 101 camp is for beginners 7-12 years of age.

Do you like to sing and dance? Then join our summer show choir - Showstoppers! We’ll learn fun new songs and put them to dance routines to perform for an audience at the end of the week. Make sure to polish up those jazz hands! This is a full-day camp; campers should register for both the morning and afternoon sessions

Come and have a dance party with Ms. Horton and friends. Get ready to show us your moves and learn a few routines. No dance experience is required. Not only will we dance but you will also get to help choreograph a routine to do on our last day. You can wear your favorite dance attire or costumes to camp each day and design a costume for our final performance. Can’t wait to groove with you all.

Campers use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, and solve real-world engineering problems using spinoff technology, just like NASA astronauts working together on a mission. They propose answers to questions like “How could space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a problem here on Earth? How could robotic arms help make our world a better place?” Then, they create a storyboard and presentation to share their spinoff project and work on their science communication skills

Join is for all things Taylor Swift! We’ll be celebrating all of her Eras throughout the week. We will make friendship bracelets to trade, sunglasses to party in, and we’ll spend the days voting on our favorite Taylor Swift songs. This week will end in an epic Taylor Swift dance party. I would LOVER to have you!

It’s like Wiffleball... only with a Gruszka “curve.” Learn how to play various types of Wiffleball along with the skills needed to play each position. Hands-on coaching and skill practice will happen each day along with a daily game! Students of all skill levels are welcome to join in for an at bat and no one ever strikes out when having fun with friends at this great backyard game.

Join your TV friends Bluey, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Paw Patrol, and Cocomelon and more in this new, fun performance-based class! Students will learn how to take something 2D and make it ‘for real life’ through acting games, engaging musical numbers, and plenty of fun, confidence-boosting activities! Come join this class offering and make your own adventure live like your cartoon friends!

What child doesn’t play pretend at home? It is through this creative play that children can act out their feelings, better express themselves and feel a sense of freedom. Students will warm-up their story telling skills through singing, acting, and dancing. Prepare for this fun introductory musical theatre camp! Join us to create original plays as magical creatures through games, improv, and crafts.

Is your little one a natural performer? This introductory musical theatre camp will help boost their confidence and prepare them for the stage. Campers will sing, dance, and act to popular, kid-friendly Broadway tunes, while also creating scenery and props that will be used in their performance! Join us for this Seussical themed camp!

Improv is an art form where the performers make up the theatre, on the spot. Through the use of improvisational games and valuable improv techniques, this class encourages campers to become more spontaneous, creative, playful, and imaginative, all while developing valuable performance and interpersonal skills.

Mario Bros! Minecraft! Sonic! Pokemon! Sound familiar? These are some of children’s most beloved video game characters. Let’s-a-go on a fun, interactive journey with these favorite video games! Campers will make an original video game story based on Mario Brothers,Minecraft, and Legos! This particular camp will be Mario Party themed!
