Hey musicians! If you have always wanted to be in a band or want to continue making music this summer, try this on for size. We will form a summer music ensemble, play some tunes, perform and record a show by the end of the week. If you play guitar, keyboard, drums, sing, of play another instrument lead vocals and have at least one year experience, this is the camp for you. This camp will be led by New City 5th/6th Grade teacher and former New City String/Band director, Brian Elder. Rock on! C

Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun.

The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world's most beloved musical. Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "My Favorite Things," "Do-Re-Mi," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars. The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows Maria, an ebullient postulant who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, the von Trapp family must make a moral decision. 

Starting in the early 90s, Pop Punk became a popular genre that dominated the radio. It has produced bands like Green Day, Paramore, Blink 182, No Doubt, Fall Out Boy and many more who will be featured in this camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs, all culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

Want to play in a band onstage? Our Rock 101 camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years of age. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Metal Camp focuses on the pioneers of Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many more!. This 5 day camp will feature soaring vocals, shredding guitar, and thundering bass and drums. This camp is great for metal heads 7-18 who have had some previous instruction. Come raise your horns as we salute the Gods of Heavy Metal!
