These two unique week-long sessions will cover the fundamentals of acting, devising new work, and improvisation! Each camp experience includes opportunities to create original work and explore scripted scenes. Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University provide a welcoming community for young actors to grow– regardless of their previous experience level. This camp will consist of ensemble building, master classes (like stage combat), and scene work. Lunch will be provided daily by SLU dining. There will be a performance that highlights what was explored throughout the week for family and friends on the last day of each session. Register for all four weeks of Middle School camp for $1,050.

Take your craft to the next level with this two-week course. Hone your audition technique, deep dive into scene work, and learn more about the professional theatre scene in St. Louis and beyond. Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University invite advanced middle school students to explore acting, stage combat, movement, and more with professional theater artists! Campers will also participate in field trips to The Fabulous Fox Theatre and Metro Theater Company. Attending Grand Theater Camp: Intro to Acting, is suggested, but not required. Lunch will be provided daily by SLU dining. There will be a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp. $1,050 for all four weeks of Middle School and Middle School Advanced.

Rock band camp for ages 6-18 where campers get to play and perform in a real band, all skill levels welcome.

The diaspora of viola students of Peter Slowik is a who’s who in the viola world. His students occupy leadership positions in the country’s leading professional orchestras, conservatories, chamber music ensembles, and professional societies. At the core of Slowik’s teaching is a deep understanding of the intersection of music, physical motion, and viola technique. This intersection is the place where energy can flow unimpeded – finding this “conductivity” is a key element in mastering string playing. This masterclass series focuses on two key periods in a violist’s life – the pre-college years, and post-education years where one is mastering the art of auditions. Participants will leave the workshop with clear tools and a pathway for considerable ongoing growth.

Act! Sing! Dance! Introduce your budding star to the fun of musical theatre! Professional teaching artists from STAGES St. Louis will actively engage students using a variety of age-appropriate songs from some of Broadway's classic family friendly musicals that feature BROADWAY KIDS like Annie in Annie, Oliver in Oliver, Matilda in Matilda, Young Simba in The Lion King, Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden or young Cosette in Les Miserables and more. Students will be introduced to basic tools of theatre and performance through engaging theatre games, incorporating props, costumes and performing in a culminating showcase on the last day for families and friends. Important Note: Have children eat lunch before they come. Children who are also participating in the morning camp with Butterfly House will eat lunch at 11:30.

An outdoor adventure awaits kids ages 5 - 10 at the Ballwin Day Camp! Campers will participate in active, exciting programming, including one field trip or onsite fun day every session at the Indoor Pool and a full day every week at the North Pointe Aquatic Center. Crafts, games, sports, songs and other activities will round out a typical day at camp. All drop off and pick ups are done at the Pointe at Ballwin Commons, except Thursdays will be at The North Pointe Aquatic Center. Be sure to pack a swimsuit daily.

Campers will learn choreographed routines such as pom, kick, hip hop, jazz, along with tricks, tips and techniques to make them stand out. This camp is led by the Parkway South Dance Team. Please bring your swimsuit daily as we will be swimming each day at the Pointe Indoor Pool. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes daily.
