BYU Musicians’ Institute is for elite musicians ages 14–18 who want to further develop their talent by working in chamber ensembles coached by members of BYU’s acclaimed music faculty. This special addition to SummerFestival requires musicians to audition for acceptance into the program. Space is limited, so submit your audition as soon as possible.

The Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp is a pre-eminent jazz education program developing the next generation of Jazz artists and preserving the great American art form.

Youth Theatre is an all-inclusive, educational theatre program that allows students to build confidence, improve communication, and experience the joy of the perfomring arts. The cast works together to learn songs, dances, and ultimately put on a wonderful performance at the end of the session.

Keep playing your stringed instrument in this fun camp!

Dive into the big world of MUSIC! Campers will have fun exploring the music and stories from all of the classics, while getting messy. Using shaving cream, paint, and water to use their creative side. Your little explorer will create fun themed crafts, get their hands dirty, and learn several musical numbers! This camp is sensory friendly.

This particular opportunity is designed for campers living with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities to perform a fully staged musical theatre production. In just two weeks, campers will work together to learn songs, scenes, and choreography from a musical while enjoying daily activities like acting games and group outings to improve confidence and assist in developing social skills. ATA allows musical theatre to be accessible to performers of all ages and abilities in a safe and supportive environment.

This weeklong jazz camp provides the opportunity for youth to participate in a fun and intense jazz-learning experience under the direction of professional staff led by Dr. Matt Pivec, Director of Jazz Studies at Butler University.
