Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University invite high school students to explore advanced acting, movement, improvisation, stage combat, and audition techniques with professional theater artists! Students will have access to SLU’s college level facilities as they create original work and perform scenes and monologues. Students will also have the opportunity to visit and tour Metro Theater Company to see what a day at a professional theatre is like. All skill levels are welcome. Lunch will be provided daily by SLU dining. There will be a performance for family and friends on the last day of camp.

Learn to design and develop video games using a variety of tools and software. All skill/experience levels welcome.

Work on crafting your skills as a performer and perform solo and duet songs for a showcase on the last day of camp!

Rehearse and perform a cabaret-style show of some of the best songs in musical theatre! We will do our performance on the last day of camp including some small and large group numbers.

Let us help you ace your next audition! Students will focus on the specific characteristics and techniques that will better prepare them to perform with ease in any situation. By the end of the week, campers will have all the key ingredients to nail their next audition; two contrasting monologues, a 16-32 bar cut of a musical theatre song, a sample dance call, and a resume.

Live from New York it’s…..well we aren't from NYC, but we will make our own sketch comedy show right here in Chesterfield! Sketch comedy is highly popular and draws on both improv and comedy writing skills. Many performers on SNL got their start at Improv groups such as Second City, Gotham City, UCB. Spend a week laughing, creating and exploring the realm of sketch comedy!

Have you wanted to try acting, but are intimidated by auditioning? Do you have experience auditioning but want to take the next step? This high school institute is for you!

We look forward to welcoming high school students to who share our love of reading and writing for years to come. This one-week camp allows students to hone their English skills while providing them with a chance to sample life on a college campus and meet peers with similar interests.

Join us at the 2024 MJ Performing Arts Academy Summer Camp, where campers will have the option of two different sessions per week.

Camp Pillsbury in Owatonna, Minnesota offers campers endless opportunities to hone their skills in fun and outstanding summer camp programs. Our camp caters to campers from 6-17 years old. Campers design their own unique schedule. Our premier programs are coached by staff members accomplished in their fields of expertise. Campers will improve and focus on 3 majors they take every day for a session. The end of the session culminates in a performance day for the camp, parents and community! Camp Pillsbury provides many summer camp activities including: pop/rock band, theatre productions classes, dance, visual arts, circus, sports, cooking, extreme sports, horseback riding, magic, tech/ digital arts/ multimedia, tennis, robotics, watersports and much more.

Through exciting activities and professional instruction, you'll be introduced to acting, directing, improvisation, and design (including costume, makeup, set, and lighting). As an image-bearer of God's creative design, you'll discover what it means to use your own creative gifts in performance, ministry, and worship.

Summer Scholars is a program offered through the SLU School of Medicine for high school students interested in pursuing a career in medicine. It is a three week program where students are introduced to various specialties, hands-on activities, and ACT Prep. Our students will participate in a community service project as well as complete a research project that will be presented at the culminating event of the program.
