Through exciting activities and professional instruction, you'll be introduced to acting, directing, improvisation, and design (including costume, makeup, set, and lighting). As an image-bearer of God's creative design, you'll discover what it means to use your own creative gifts in performance, ministry, and worship.

AMAZING NEW SHOW! Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo and the Finding Nemo show in Disney World, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (FROZEN). Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s summer camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a livest performance. Great for students 8-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock and Roll.  The British Invasion bands like the Rolling Stones  (who are named after a Muddy Waters song) took the Blues and turned them up to 11. Campers will learn the importance of the Blues and explore the music of  Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, Big Mama Thornton and many others.  At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

Metal Camp forcuses on the pioneers of Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Iron Maiden and many more! This 5 day camp will feature soaring vocals, shredding guitar and thundering bass and drums! This camp is great for metal heads age 7-18 who have had some previous instruction. Come raise the horns as we salute the Gods of Heavy Metal!

Camp Pillsbury in Owatonna, Minnesota offers campers endless opportunities to hone their skills in fun and outstanding summer camp programs. Our camp caters to campers from 6-17 years old. Campers design their own unique schedule. Our premier programs are coached by staff members accomplished in their fields of expertise. Campers will improve and focus on 3 majors they take every day for a session. The end of the session culminates in a performance day for the camp, parents and community! The Beatles are undoubtedly one of the most important rock ‘n’ roll bands of all-time and their songs have greatly influenced the direction of modern music. Come celebrate the best songs from their vast collection of hits and Billboard-topping classics. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from The Beatles, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.

Throughout Rock and Roll history, some of the best performers were also the most popular of their time. These early Pop Legends such as Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and Dusty Springfield paved the way for modern icons such as Madonna, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift. While this camp features mostly female artists, we also feature some of their male counterparts such as Michael Jackson and Prince. After rehearsing for five days, the campers will take the stage on the final camp day. This is a great camp for instrumentalists and vocalists 7-18 years of age, some prior experience preferred.
