Join us for this week-long experience and be a part of the cast! Students will be assigned characters, costumes, lines, and staging, all while discovering activing techniques to make them stronger performers. At the end of the week, students will perform  the production for audience members.

Join STAGES St. Louis in this Whale of a Tale under the sea adventure! Campers will bring to life the one of a kind Barnacle and Bailey Underwater Circus with such characters as P.T. Barnacle, Billy “Crawdad” Bailey, Sarah Seahorse, Olivia Octopus, Terry Tuna, Monty Mussel, Waylon/Wynona J. Whale, and more... singing their hearts out in pursuit of the “Clammy” award. Audiences will have a whale of a time while enjoying this spectacular under the sea circus musical the last day of camp

Prepare for success! Fifth and sixth grade students will review math and reading skills through interactive games and fun activities. They will learn different strategies to develop and enhance study skills, including organization and time management. Through critical thinking activities, leadership skills will be enhanced to prepare fifth and sixth graders for the school year

These two unique week-long sessions will cover the fundamentals of acting, devising new work, and improvisation! Each camp experience includes opportunities to create original work and explore scripted scenes. Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University provide a welcoming community for young actors to grow– regardless of their previous experience level. This camp will consist of ensemble building, master classes (like stage combat), and scene work. Lunch will be provided daily by SLU dining. There will be a performance that highlights what was explored throughout the week for family and friends on the last day of each session.
