Join GIRLS IN THE KNOW and *St. Louis Academy of Dance at AR Workshop for a crafty Summer ARt Camp!

Learn Hip Hop dance moves, skills, and routines from an experienced instructor through The Rec Academy! Practice isolation movements, footwork, and a choreographed routine.

Campers use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, and solve real-world engineering problems using spinoff technology, just like NASA astronauts working together on a mission. They propose answers to questions like “How could space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a problem here on Earth? How could robotic arms help make our world a better place?” Then, they create a storyboard and presentation to share their spinoff project and work on their science communication skills

Come on a musical journey as we listen to different genres and bands from The Beatles to Taylor Swift. After learning about different styles we will celebrate with a giant dance party dressed as your favorite band

Perform a full show in a week? Why, yes you will! During this intense week of acting, singing, and dancing students will create a full show under the direction of Mrs. Rowan. Paint sets, create props, become characters, and work as a team as you accomplish the nearly impossible, and have a blast doing it! This is a full-day camp; campers should register for both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Do you like to sing and dance? Then join our summer show choir - Showstoppers! We’ll learn fun new songs and put them to dance routines to perform for an audience at the end of the week. Join is for all things Taylor Swift! We’ll be celebrating all of her Eras throughout the week. We will make friendship bracelets to trade, sunglasses to party in, and we’ll spend the days voting on our favorite Taylor Swift songs. This week will end in an epic Taylor Swift dance party. I would LOVER to have you!

Interested in the technical side of theatre? Come join us in this 2-week camp as you learn how to make a show happen! We will build and paint sets, make costumes, and do crew for our junior musical performances!

Rehearse and perform a cabaret-style show of your favorite theatrical showtunes. At the end of the week, we'll invite an audience to come and watch!
