This program is perfect for those with little to no experience in the kitchen, aiming to build foundational knowledge in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety.

It's maple sugaring season at The Historic Daniel Boone Home! Homeschool families will experience what it was like to harvest sap back in Daniel Boone's time while gathering around our Three Kettle Station, evaluating weather superstitions, and listening to sappy stories. Drilling, hauling, and tasting will round out this wonderful winter field trip. Pre-registration is required. Parents and all family members attending, ages 5 and up, must register.

Join us for a sweet family tradition — each registration includes all the supplies needed to build and decorate one gingerbread house per family. Only one person per family needs to register. Fee is per family.
