Enter the whimsical world of fairytale land, a land of fairies, giants, unicorns, and wizards! Every day, we will explore a new fairytale with arts and crafts, costume play, outdoor exploration, magic tricks, and games!

Join us for a week of guided drawing, crafts, and free drawing. We will spend time each day learning how to draw and color something new! Then we will have time to make a craft that you can take home with you at the end of the week. We will always make some time for free drawing at the end of every day for you to show what you know!

Grab your favorite kitten or puppy stuffie and bring it to summer camp! This camp explores animal care through modeling and imaginative play and making creations such as personal pet collars for our stuffies. It also explores service learning such as making dog/cat toys for a local animal rescue!

Spend the week getting inspired by the colors of the rainbow with one of a kind color fun! Make your own paint, chalk, and tie-dye as you color your way through camp. Learn about the colors of nature, enjoy creating unique masterpieces and even participate in a colorful BablerWiLD color run!

Add some sparkles, glue some googly eyes and get crafting! Start with one of our projects and see where it goes.This camp is designed to encourage our kid creators to lead the way in the creation of new art projects. Follow the project directions from start to finish or carve your own creation out of the materials.

Beyond our realm lies the eternally unknown… and the eternally discoverable! Does your creature live in the forest behind Chesterfield Montessori, or maybe in the stream? Explore the forests of your mind, and build the creature of your wildest dreams through collage, plaster manipulation, roundtable discussion, and so much more in this four day camp! This camp highlights: Our relationship to the natural world, identification of survival traits as defined by physical characteristics, long-form character building, and utilization of multimedia to define a big-picture idea.

Do you consider yourself the ultimate Disney fan? If so, this camp is for you. We will be testing your Disney knowledge with group games, crafts and your favorite books and movies. All crafts and games will be based on past and current Disney movies and characters. Disney Camp will be swimming Monday- Friday, so don’t forget your bathing suit.

If you love creating and helping others, then this is the camp for you! Kindness and creativity go hand-in-hand in this unique and fun camp. We will use our imaginations to create art in different media to benefit those in the community. Creativity + Community = Art with Purpose!

Learn the basics of jewelry making as we string beads to make necklaces, bracelets, and more. We will use commercially available beads, as well as those which we will craft for ourselves using polymer clay, fabric, paper, and other materials. The possibilities are endless!

Travel the world through art! Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure. Explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to the Ivory Coast, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola® products while trying art techniques developed by local artists and artisans. Make a different masterpiece each day, including a dot art canvas, a mini Pakistani bus, a mud art painting on fabric, and an imperial Russian egg! Bring the unique creations home and build a globally-inspired art gallery

Discover how a few readily available objects can activate your child’s creative streak! We will step outdoors, look around, and find interesting things in our surroundings. We’ll use natural materials such as salt dough, paper mache, and food items to inspire our projects. Your child will be proud of their creations!

In this class, students will create small watercolor paintings and use those to adorn a folded box and a handsewn mini book or two. This class will be a calm and relaxing way to creatively express ourselves as we ease into summer. And, students will walk away with creative projects that can last them for many years to come.

It’s art, it’s messy, it’s FUN! Make sure to send along the old clothes for this camp as we will be creating with paint, glue, and so much more. Take something home each day.

Come with us as we probe the world of manipulable art, character representation, and purposeful movement in this five day camp. Students will work to bring the worlds of design, engineering and storytelling together through various puppet-theater techniques, led by our puppet-crazed Artscope Teaching Artists. This camp highlights: Creative engineering, physical representation of emotional traits in shape and movement, group storytelling, empathetic understanding of internal worlds, character development, multimedia design, the history and relevance of storytelling, theater techniques, and so much more!
